£380 per day (umbrella) (£300 PAYE per day)

Hybrid working (ideally 1 day per week in office, flexible/remote considered)
A local authority in the East of England is seeking an experienced Resolution & Tribunal Officer to support their SEND team on a contract basis.
You’ll play a key role in managing tribunal cases and supporting dispute resolution across education settings.
Key responsibilities:
Manage and oversee appeals to the First-tier Tribunal
Coordinate and facilitate mediations to resolve disputes
Represent the Local Authority at tribunal hearings
Liaise with parents/carers, young people, legal teams, advocates, and education providers
Maintain accurate case records and documentation
About you:
Strong experience within SEND tribunal processes
Confident representing a local authority in hearings
Skilled in case management and stakeholder engagement
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
