Role Purpose
The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for managing and delivering electrical engineering and technical activities through the application of specialist expertise, established engineering processes, and professional experience. Operating with a high level of autonomy, the Senior Electrical Engineer provides technical leadership, ensures design integrity, and contributes to the safe and efficient delivery of complex engineering projects. The role supports project delivery across all lifecycle stages, while mentoring and developing less experienced engineers within the electrical discipline.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Delivery
1. Lead the design, development, and verification of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and industry standards.
2. Produce, review, and approve engineering deliverables including calculations, schematics, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, equipment specifications, and technical reports.
