About the role
As the Sr. Global Manager – EHS, you will lead the global EHS program across Securitas’ datacenter physical security operations. You’ll be responsible for creating and managing systems, policies, training, and cultural initiatives that protect people and reduce risks. This role manages a geographically distributed team of EHS professionals and acts as the primary liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including client EHS leadership.
This high-impact, highly collaborative position is ideal for a senior leader experienced in global EHS operations, risk prevention, safety culture transformation, and managing large, cross-functional teams.
What you’ll do
You will lead the strategic development and execution of a global EHS program supporting datacenter physical security operations. You will oversee a distributed team of EHS professionals, ensuring compliance with regulations while promoting a strong safety culture. Your responsibilities include creating policies, defining KPIs, conducting risk assessments, managing emergency planning, and driving continuous safety improvements. You will mentor staff, collaborate with stakeholders, investigate incidents, and manage client relationships to align with service expectations and safety metrics.
What you need to apply
We seek a professional with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with relevant safety certifications. You should have 15+ years of experience leading EHS programs, with a background in global safety development and compliance. Experience in a datacenter environment and working with contract security vendors is a plus.
You need strong leadership skills for global teams and strategic program management. Comfort in presenting to senior leaders and effective communication skills are essential. A proven track record of influencing safety culture and integrating EHS with business goals is required.
This role involves 30% travel, so a passion for travel, a valid passport, and flexibility for domestic and international trips are necessary. You must be willing to work evenings or weekends during emergencies or safety incidents.
