Overview
The Music Department, based within a state of the art Performing Arts Centre is a constant hive of activity. Led by the Director of Music, the department is staffed by an Assistant Director of Music, Music Administrator, and a team of 20+ peripatetic instrumental teachers.
Responsibilities
You will be required to plan and teach Key Stage 3 Music lessons covering music theory, performance and composition projects across a wide variety of genres, as well as deliver lessons in all modules for AQA GCSE syllabus. A knowledge of Edexcel A Level Music including Bach Chorale Harmony and techniques is highly desirable. As part of this role, you will accompany, rehearse and prepare students for GCSE and A Level performance exams and concerts. Contribution to extra curricular is key and you will assist the Director of Music in the preparation of all the Department’s concerts and productions.

Contract and Deadlines
This role is available on a full time basis as maternity cover.
