Responsibilities:
We are offering a talented and driven sales representative to join our team as a Mining Event Sales Representative.
The role will be responsible for selling sponsorship packages for our mining events and to work closely with the Event Management to ensure that our events are successful and meet the needs of our clients.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the mining industry;
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients to maximize sales and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction;
Meet and exceed sales targets, with a focus on growing sales revenue and securing repeat business;
Create and present compelling sponsorship packages to potential clients, tailored to their specific needs and objectives;
Work collaboratively with the event management team to ensure the success of our mining events, including developing and executing marketing strategies, managing sponsor expectations, and providing on-site support during events;
Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote our events, and stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in the mining industry;
Keep accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and opportunities using a CRM system.
Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the related industry;
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with experience in lead generation, qualification, and closing deals;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the industry;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills;
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software with the ability to learn new software quickly;
Willingness to travel as needed, both domestically and internationally
