About the Role
Pertemps are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading power solutions specialist for an on-site Generator / Yard Engineer to join their Bristol depot.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of the South Wests largest generator specialists, supporting a busy depot with the service, maintenance, and preparation of diesel generators and associated equipment for both the hire fleet and external customers.
Youll play a key role in ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standard while delivering excellent customer service on-site and within the depot.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare, service, and maintain hire fleet generators and ancillary equipment.
2. Diagnose faults and carry out breakdown repairs on both hire and customer-owned generators.
3. Attend customer sites to assist with synchronising generator setups for set-to-set and set-to-mains applications.
4. Assist with general yard duties, including loading/unloading equipment and operating forklifts (training provided if required).
5. Deliver and collect generators and equipment using company vehicles, including refuelling.
6. Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the yard, workshop, and vehicles.
