Location: Christchurch, Dorset (Office-based)

Working Arrangement: Full-time (34 hours per week), Monday-Friday

Reports to: Head of Sales

Role mission

This is an entry-level role where you'll learn how sales and marketing operations run in a specialist B2B environment. You'll support the team with research, database management, campaign coordination, and admin tasks that keep our sales pipeline moving. You'll also get hands-on training in AI tools to help speed up repetitive work and improve accuracy. Success in this role requires great organisation, communication and collaborative skills — you'll be working with multiple teams, following up with colleagues, and communicating clearly to keep projects on track.

What you'll do

* Research companies that fit our target industries and identify potential leads.
* Build and maintain contact lists for sales campaigns and tradeshows.
* Keep HubSpot CRM records accurate and up to date
* Book banner ad placements on our websites and follow up with clients for artwork.
* Track advertising schedules and check campaigns are delivered correctly.
* Help collect and organise customer testimonials and case studies.
* Prepare simple reports on advertising performance.
* Assist with creating sales presentations and marketing materials.
* Monitor social media inboxes and approve group membership requests.
* Learn and apply AI tools to make research and admin tasks more efficient.
* Ensure all three platforms receive balanced attention in prospecting and lead generation so each grows in line with business objectives.

Who we're looking for

* Recently graduated in marketing, communications, business, or similar — or equivalent experience.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
* Organised, reliable, and eager to learn.
* Excellent soft skills — able to work well with different teams, communicate clearly, and build positive working relationships.
* Comfortable with spreadsheets, email, and online tools.
* Clear written and verbal communication skills.
* Preferred: Completed or working towards HubSpot Sales Software Certification (free online).
* Additional languages, Canva or basic design skills, or experience using AI tools would be considered a bonus by us but are not essential.

What you'll gain

* Training in HubSpot, campaign management, and ad operations.
* Practical experience in multiple areas of B2B marketing, including digital advertising, content marketing, social media engagement, email marketing, event/tradeshow preparation, and campaign performance reporting.
* Hands-on involvement in sales prospecting, learning to identify high-quality opportunities and understanding what makes a good prospect in different industries.
* Exposure to sales blueprinting, sales methodology, and structured training that will build a strong foundation for any future commercial role.
* Skills in market research, competitive analysis, and lead qualification.
* Experience balancing multi-platform prospecting to ensure steady growth across all business areas.
* Competence in AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency in research, reporting, and repetitive tasks.
