JOB TITLE: ENGLISH LECTURER
LOCATION: KINGS LYNN
HOURS: 30 PER WEEK (0.8 FTE)
SALARY: £24,754 - £31,216 PER ANNUM (£30,529 - £38,500 FTE)
Responsibilities
* Deliver Functional Skills and GCSE lessons to learners.
* Work with learners who are enrolled on other college courses and support their English development and confidence.
* Help learners understand how English applies to their course and everyday life, promoting engagement and progression.
Salary and Working Arrangements
Our English team focuses on work-life balance and offers job share and flexible working opportunities where possible. Your salary point will be determined by experience and teaching qualifications. Appointments are not normally made at point 12 or above (£35,831 FTE) without a level 5 teaching qualification and relevant experience.

Requirements / Qualifications
* Relevant teaching qualifications; a Level 5 teaching qualification is preferred for progression on the salary scale
* Experience in teaching English and delivering GCSE/Functional Skills is desirable
