The Role We’re looking for a professional and friendly Afternoon Receptionist to support our front-of-house operations and ensure a smooth experience for visitors, contractors, and colleagues alike. This is a part time position (20 hours), working Monday – Friday 12:30 – 16:30. You may also be required to cover additional morning shifts if our morning Receptionist is unavailable. What you'll be doing As our Afternoon Receptionist, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment. Your responsibilities will include: Greeting visitors and managing security protocols Handling incoming calls and enquiries with courtesy and efficiency Keeping the reception area tidy and presentable Managing incoming and outgoing mail Issuing ID/access passes for visitors, contractors, and new starters Supporting first aid coordination and emergency response Booking pool/hire vehicles and managing associated paperwork Providing admin support to the Site Services Manager Assisting with airside access arrangements What we're looking for Organised and proactive, with a keen eye for detail Confident using IT systems, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Professional and discreet, with a high level of integrity Flexible and reliable, able to adapt to changing needs Customer-focused, with excellent communication skills. A professional secretarial or administration qualification is desirable but not essential.
