Job Summary
The Global Senior Commercial Director will lead the development and execution of global strategic commercial plans for the myopia management portfolio, driving revenue growth, market share expansion, and customer satisfaction in key MiSight markets.
Responsibilities
* Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a global sales strategy for myopia management, ensuring alignment with growth objectives and maximizing profitability.
* Revenue and Market Share Growth: Own global sales targets, work with regional and local teams to achieve ambitious growth targets, particularly for MiSight 1 Day sales in the U.S. & Japan.
* Category Management: Collaborate with product and marketing teams to implement effective assortment planning, pricing, promotions, and private label strategy.
* Cross‑functional Leadership & Collaboration: Work closely with global sales teams to develop and implement optimized selling blueprints.
* Market Analysis and Category Insights: Use data and analytics to track market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities, translating insights into actionable strategies.
* Channel Strategy Development: Build and execute a comprehensive channel strategy covering direct and indirect distribution channels.
* Resource Optimization: Analyze and optimize commercial budgets globally, ensuring ROI on sales and marketing investments.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as primary contact for senior stakeholders regarding commercial performance, providing regular updates.
* Leadership and Team Development: Mentor a high‑performing sales team, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
Qualifications
* Proven ability to deliver strong commercial plans and consistently meet or exceed objectives.
* Executive presence and skill to influence leadership at all levels.
* Exceptional leadership skills to inspire cross‑functional, regional, and field sales teams.
* Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiating skills.
* Experience in the medical products industry, ideally encompassing consumer and professional aspects.
* Strong commercial strategic and analytical skills, especially in driving return on investment.
Experience
* 10–15 years in a senior commercial role, preferably in optical or medical device industries.
* Experience in CPG or category management in a global setting.
* Demonstrated success in achieving revenue, profitability, and market share goals.
* Mindset focused on continuous excellence and results.
Education
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a technical field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Work Environment
This role is based in the Victor, NY office or the Delta Park office, with frequent travel (25–30%) to work closely with regional and country teams.

Compensation
For U.S. locations, the starting base pay is between $179,834.00 and $276,668.00 per year. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
