Hallgate Primary School is a warm and welcoming school in the centre of Cottingham.
We are looking to appoint a warm, caring and patient 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our hard-working and dedicated team.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with children in a school setting on a 1:1 basis and hold a NVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification.
You will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCO to meet pupils educational, social, emotional and developmental needs. Be able to supervise children and relate to them in a friendly and caring manner, whilst also being firm and fair. You will need to be a good communicator and able to build strong relationships with both pupils and staff.
