Temporary Works Coordinator – Infrastructure – Leiston (Suffolk)
Location – Sizewell, Leiston (Suffolk) 
What you will be doing:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator to join us on our brand new £m major highways project in Leiston (Suffolk), as part of the new Sizewell C development. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all temporary works on site. You will work closely with senior management and the wider operational team to successfully deliver the works.
 1. Oversee all temporary works activities, maintaining a comprehensive temporary works register.
 2. Ensure receipt and distribution of all relevant design data from the client, principal designer, and permanent works designer.
 3. Develop site-appropriate design briefs in consultation with the project team, referencing nearby temporary works, and issue them to the Temporary Works Designer (TWD).
 4. Confirm that design checks are done by individuals not involved in the original design process.
 5. Make certified designs available to interested parties like the principal designer, permanent works designer, and client, if required.
 6. Register and archive all design documents, including drawings and calculations, and obtain necessary approvals.
 7. Provide full design details, risks, and method statements to the site team responsible for implementation.
 8. Implement inspection/test plans and checklists, ensuring material/construction changes are vetted against the original design.
 9. Conduct checks throughout the process, manage discrepancies, and issue permits to load, proceed, or unload as appropriate.
 10. Verify structural stability before dismantling, ensure safe systems are in place, and transfer relevant information to the health and safety file.
