Job Purpose: Social care opportunity has become available to cover maternity leave until April 2026, for a young gentleman who has a neurological physical disabilities, slow speech, and is severely sighted, living in a family home. Location: Wymondham, NR18 Details: Personal Care – Assisting with toileting, occasional showering, and undressing. Moving and Handling – Using hoist and moving safely in the wheelchair. Meal preparation – Plating and warming food up. Then feeding and assisting with drinking. Companionship – socialising and having conversations. Having a laugh. Other duties will be discussed if/when deemed appropriate but everything that will be expected will be explained prior to acceptance of the position. - The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks. - Access to free training for employed workers. - If this job requires; Manual Handling, Handling of hazardous chemicals and/or Food Handling you will be required undertake annual training.
