This role is commutable from MiltonKeynes Newport Pagnell St. Neots Biggleswade SandyBedford.
My clients are a world leader in in thedesign manufacture and continuous improvement of wireless conditionmonitoring solutions. Their technology is used in 35 countries inrail construction and mining. More than 30000 sensors wereinstalled last year helping users manage ground and structuralmovement landslide risk geotechnical behaviour rail track movementand much more.
Reporting Location &Travel:
This role reports to the Global InsideSales Team Manager and is primarily office based for 34 days aweek. There will be opportunities for occasional travel to meet thewider team.
Tasks
Main Duties& Responsibilities:
This positionprovides an important link between the Business Development andOperations teams. The successful candidate will oversee criticalprocesses within the sales cycle to help the business drive salesperformance and operational efficiency.
Your eyefor detail will ensure that you prove a key asset for the widerBusiness Development and Operations teams and your attention toeach customers experience will cement strong and long lastingrelationships. The responsibilities will be principally focussed onsupporting the Business Development and Operations Teams as salesexpansion continues. Tasks will cover a global customer base withparticular focus on UK Europe Middle East Asia and Africa.
KeyResponsibilities:
Responsibilities includealthough are not limited to the following:
Receiving checking and processing Purchase Orders and communicatingwith customers once orders are placed.
Liaisingwith customers regarding shipping processes confirmation andrequesting any additional information required.
Checking and approving Quotations Sales Orders and Purchase Ordersto ensure they are in line with the companies commercialguidelines.
Ensuring high levels of data qualityare maintained in CRM and ERP systems.
Overseeing Purchase Order insurancerequirements.
Working with the Finance Team totrack late payments.
Producing reports forvarious sales and operational metrics.
Updatingand distributing sales process and sales supportdocumentation.
Providing a key link between theOperations and Business Development Teams.
Supporting Aftersales team where required.
Assisting in contract review and managing review via legal teamwhere required.
Updating company profiles oncustomers supplierplatforms.
Requirements
RelevantSkills Experience &Competencies:
Candidates should assess theirsuitability against the following essential and/or desirablerelevant knowledge andexperience:
Essential:
Substantial demonstrable experience in similarrole.
Competent using CRM and ERP software aswell as full Microsoft Office suite.
Strongcommunication and customer service skills to manage internal andexternal requests.
Familiarity with shipping andlogistics processes.
Ability to multitask in anorganised manner and meet deadlines while paying attention todetails.
Ability to work within global andremote teams.
Desirable:
Ability to speak a second language.
Experienceand knowledge of contractreview.
