Development Manager - Midlands (Hybrid Working)
£60,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance + Package

The Role
Reporting into the Head of Development, you will take responsibility for a number of residential sites, managing the development process from land handover through to securing planning consent and preparing schemes for delivery.
You will play a key role in shaping developments, ensuring they are commercially viable, policy-compliant, and deliverable within programme.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development process across multiple residential schemes
* Manage and coordinate external consultants including planning, technical, and design teams
* Drive planning applications through to successful approval
* Work closely with land, technical, and commercial teams internally
* Build strong working relationships with local authorities and key stakeholders
* Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
* Monitor budgets, programme, and key milestones
About You
* Proven experience in a Development Manager role within housebuilding or residential development
* Strong knowledge of the planning system, land acquisition process, and Section 106 agreements
* Commercially astute with experience assessing site viability
* Confident managing multiple projects and stakeholders
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Proactive, organised, and delivery-focused
