Pay: Circa £95,000 (Negotiable depending on skillset and experience)
Hours of Work: Full Time, Monday to Friday, Days (45 hours)
Duration: Permanent

Job Role: As Senior Project Manager (Construction), you will take full responsibility for leading the on-site delivery of a complex civil engineering project. You will manage all construction activities from the start of site operations through to completion, ensuring that all works meet programme, cost, quality and safety targets.
You will oversee multidisciplinary site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring high performance, efficient coordination, and compliance with all regulatory and project requirements. This Senior Project Manager (Construction) role requires strong operational leadership, exceptional safety management, and the ability to drive progress, resolve issues, and maintain excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
You will work closely with design, engineering, planning, commercial and procurement teams to ensure construction is delivered effectively and in line with the project's technical and contractual obligations.
This position suits an experienced project leader with a strong background delivering large-scale civil engineering or infrastructure schemes.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager delivering major civil engineering or infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing, buildability and site operations
Demonstrable leadership of on-site delivery teams including engineers, managers, supervisors and subcontractors
Excellent command of health & safety management, RAMS, permits, CDM and safe systems of work
Strong capability in programme management, progress reporting, resource planning and production control
Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong working relationships
Experience operating within NEC contract environments
Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities under live site conditions
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
Chartered status (MICE, MAPM, RICS, MCIOB or equivalent)
Degree (BEng / BSc) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related subject
