What You Will Do
: Supervise the installation and assembly of electrical and pneumatic control systems, both on:site and off:site.
: Provide hands:on support and technical guidance during complex installations, fault:finding, and commissioning.
: Interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to lead and support project delivery.
: Coordinate and manage the daily activities of fitters and apprentices, ensuring quality and efficiency.
: Test, install, and troubleshoot electrical control circuits and components, including relay logic, sensors, motor starters, servo drives, and more.
: Maintain accurate records of assembly work, installation tasks, and testing/commissioning results.
What You Will Bring
: Proven experience in automation or complex material handling environments, with a minimum of 5 years in a multi:skilled role.
: Strong knowledge of PLC:based control systems and statutory compliance requirements.
: Ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively under pressure.
: Excellent communication skills and a team:oriented mindset.
: Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, ONC/D, HNC, or City and Guilds certifications.
