Progress Teachers is recruiting for compassionate and resilient Behaviour & Pastoral Mentors to join an Alternative Provision setting in Nottinghamshire. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is committed to supporting young people with SEMH & SEN needs, helping them re-engage with learning, strengthen their confidence, and achieve lasting, positive outcomes. The Role As a key member of the support team, you will: Deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group mentoring for pupils facing social, emotional and behavioural challenges. Act as a central point of support for named students, working closely with families and external professionals. Develop strong, trusting relationships that promote self-worth, motivation and positive behaviour. Track and review behaviour and engagement data to inform interventions. Support pupils with transitions, including reintegration back into mainstream education or movement to new placements. Contribute to whole-setting pastoral and wellbeing initiatives. Maintain clear, accurate records to support progress reviews and planning. What We’re Looking For You’ll be a strong fit if you have: Experience working with young people in education, alternative provision, youth work or pastoral support.
