Your new role
As the Specification Sales Manager, you will drive the regional specification strategy for the South of the UK, ensuring thepany’s electrical heating solutions are successfully adopted at the earliest stages of project design.
In this senior role, you will:
1. Build strong relationships with architects, consultants, developers and contractors to secure early‑stage specifications.
2. Identify key project opportunities and create pull‑through across design, tender and installation stages.
3. Work collaboratively with sales, marketing and product teams to align insights and develop market‑relevant propositions.
4. Monitor industry trends,petitor activity and regulatory updates affecting electrical heating and building services.
5. Represent thepany at sector events and professional bodies to strengthen visibility and influence.
6. Provide clear performance analysis, forecasts and market rmendations to senior leadership.
7. Ensurepliance with relevant UK regulations, standards and internal procedures.
You'll report directly to seniormercial leadership and play a pivotal role in shaping thepany’s growth trajectory.
What you'll need to succeed
8. Proven experience in a senior specification‑based, technical ormercial role within the construction or building services arena.
9. Strong understanding of the UK specification process, particularly within M&E, heating or building technologies.
10. Excellentmunication, influencing and presentation skills with credibility across design and construction stakeholders.
11. Strategic thinking with the ability to turn market insight into practical action plans.
12. A driven, proactive mindset and the ability to navigateplex project environments.
13. Willingness to travel across the southern UK region.
