· Manage your staff team of Deputy Support Services Manager, Support Services Co-ordinator and Community Day Club Co-ordinator, working together to deliver key objectives and offering ongoing support and training.

· Support the recruitment and training of volunteers delivering our services in the community and appreciate their role as part of the Support Services team.

· Manage the Community Day Clubs, developing the programme to ensure the clubs thrive.

· Develop service awareness by building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships

· Be our Safeguarding Lead, advising, implementing, monitoring and reviewing charity-wide safeguarding practice, supported by the Trustee Safeguarding Lead.

· Work with the Health & Safety Officer to ensure continued delivery of all Health & Safety requirements, ensuring risk is reviewed and monitored and processes and procedures adhered to.

· Ensure the charity database is regularly maintained and updated with all Support Services client and volunteer details and complete regular reporting

Essential skills and experience:

· Significant experience working with older or vulnerable people

· Desire to work in the community, supporting people at a difficult time

· Minimum Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent.

· Client assessment experience

· Minimum of 2 years in a team leadership or management position
