Are you passionate about training of the next generation of veterinary nurses?
If so, we are delighted to be hiring an Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to join our Veterinary Nursing team at University Centre Sparsholt. IQAs support the progress of our Student Veterinary Nurses whilst in practice, working closely with employers and students to ensure the quality of learning and development.
The role will involve annual reviews of registered training practices, sampling student practical portfolio work, generating quality reports, and supporting clinical supervisors in clinical practice (including their training and standardisation). The role is integral to the delivery of the Veterinary Nursing course, and will require close working with a team of friendly and ambitious academic staff.
The successful applicant will either possess an Assessor qualification, or be willing to work towards attaining one. They will also need a minimum of a Level 3 Veterinary Nursing qualification, current registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, and have demonstrable experience of working in a veterinary practice.
This post is based at the Sparsholt campus, but the role does require travel to practices for visits, so a current valid driving license is essential.
This is a part time post for four days per week.
