Location: Trowbridge, Wiltshire
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Working Hours: Tuesday to Friday 0900-1700 (30 min lunch)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Car Valeter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are cleaned, polished, and presented to the highest standard, both inside and out. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and valeting vehicles to a high standard, including washing, waxing, polishing, and vacuuming.
Steam-clean the engine, frame and wheel arches
Using cleaning products safely and effectively to maintain vehicle interiors and exteriors.
Performing basic vehicle checks and ensuring vehicles are presented professionally.
Ensuring all work areas are kept clean and organized.
Handling customer vehicles with care and attention.
Reporting any damages or issues found on vehicles to the supervisor or manager.
Following health and safety guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Car Valeter or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A valid UK driving license is beneficial
Good time management and reliability.
Physically fit, as the role involves manual tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for long periods.
