We have an opportunity for a Repairs Supervisor to join our Wates team within our Responsive Maintenance division. The role is based out of our Walton-On-Thames office, so local candidates to the KT12 area are preferred.
The successful candidate will partner with one of our long-term social housing partners, managing a team of approximately 10 reports. Key responsibilities include delivering reactive and some planned maintenance to residents.
We are seeking an experienced supervisor from a social housing background with trade knowledge.
Key Accountabilities
1. Ensure high-quality service by managing work scheduling in accordance with company procedures, standards, and SLAs.
2. Represent Wates at client and resident performance meetings as requested by the Operations Manager.
3. Manage the responsive repairs function to meet performance targets.
4. Manage material costs effectively and ensure adherence to correct processes and procedures.
5. Monitor work quality through inspections, inspection reports, KPI analysis, and customer satisfaction surveys.
6. Lead and develop your team, determining optimal employment levels to provide the service.
Minimum requirements: Full UK driving licence and SSSTS qualification.
Preferred additional qualifications include SMSTS, Asbestos awareness (UKATA).
