Customer Service Assistant – Seasonal (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm) Location: Balfour Winery Pay: £10.85-£12.71 Contract: Seasonal (with the possibility of becoming permanent) About the Role We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Customer Service Assistant to join our team for the busy season. You’ll be the first point of contact for guests and customers, helping to deliver the warm, professional experience Balfour Winery is known for. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, communicates clearly, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Greeting visitors and providing excellent customer service at all times Handling customer enquiries by phone, email, and in person Supporting the retail and hospitality teams with day‑to‑day tasks Assisting with bookings, tours, and general guest information Maintaining a tidy, welcoming shop area Processing sales and payments accurately Providing general administrative support where required What We’re Looking For A positive, approachable attitude Strong communication and people skills Good organisational ability and attention to detail Comfortable using basic computer systems Ability to stay calm and professional during busy periods Previous customer service experience is helpful but not essential What We Offer Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm working pattern Supportive team environment Training provided Seasonal contract with the potential to become permanent for the right person If you are unable to apply through Indeed, please email kerry@balfourwinery.com with your CV
