About the Role
We are seeking a confident, customer-focused Interior Design Consultant with a passion for curtains, blinds, and helping customers transform their homes. Creativity, adaptability, and excellent listening skills are essential to understand and meet each customer's unique needs.
You will guide customers through their design journey from first consultation to post-installation follow-up, ensuring every detail is perfect.
What You'll Be Doing
* Providing expert in-home advice on custom curtain and blind options
* Managing customer relationships from consultation to project completion
* Working independently while collaborating with the sales team
* Servicing the Ashburton area and surrounds (shared company vehicle)
What You'll Bring
* Sales experience, ideally in interiors, soft furnishings, or home improvement
* At least 1 year of experience in curtains and blinds
* Excellent product knowledge and a willingness to learn
* Strong communication, administrative, and organizational skills
* Negotiation and problem-solving abilities
* A full NZ driver's license and confidence visiting clients on-site
* A proactive, business-minded approach with attention to detail
* Confident verbal and written communication skills
