Mechanical Design Engineer Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting a Mechanical Design Engineer, on behalf of our chesterfield based client. you will support a wide variety of specialist design projects, as well as other bespoke engineering work when required. You will work closely with customers, the production team, and the wider design department to deliver safe, compliant, and innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities: * Produce creative and practical design solutions to meet customer requirements Develop 3D models and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor * Ensure all designs comply with relevant legislation and British Standards * Liaise directly with clients throughout the design process * Prepare full costings and bills of materials * Support production by resolving design and manufacturing issues * Create system layouts, module assemblies, and technical documentation * Produce operation and service manuals Requirements: * Formal Mechanical Engineering qualification * Strong 3D CAD experience (preferably Autodesk Inventor) * Knowledge of machinery and fabrication design * Basic understanding of electrical control circuit design (advantageous) * Proficient user of Microsoft Office * Experience supporting projects with documentation and technical information * Strong verbal, visual, and written communication skills * Willingness to learn, ...
