The firm provides typical accounts, tax and advisory services to a strong client base of SMEs. The clients are based across NI and increasingly across RoI and UK, these are high growth businesses which are lead by very entrepreneurial executives. In recent years, the current Directors of this firm have worked closely with their clients on financial analysis of company performance, market assessment and mapping to identify opportunities, through to strategic planning for growth. These Directors, working with the wider team, have a really strong reputation as true Business Advisors, not just Accountants. The demand for support from the firm, as the result of significant successes, is very high. The requirement to add another key player to the team is now paramount. The person we will seek to appoint could be titles as a Corporate Finance Manager, likewise they could also be a Senior Manager/Director in another independent firm that has taken charge of similar types of projects as part of their role. Either profile is highly relevant and encouraged to apply. Typical responsibilities will include: Financial Planning & Analysis Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models. Analysis of performance metrics and identify trends to guide management decisions. Capital Management Assess funding needs and manage debt and equity financing. Optimisation of capital structure to minimize cost of capital. Investment & Project Evaluation Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analysis for new projects or acquisitions. Support mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures with financial due diligence. Cash Flow & Liquidity Management Monitor cash flow to ensure operational stability. Manage short-term investments and banking relationships. Risk Management Identify financial risks (currency, interest rate, credit) and propose mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Reporting & Stakeholder Communication Prepare financial reports for senior management and sometimes investors.
