The purpose of this role is to support the Deputy Director for Youth Custody Operations with the delivery of the directorate’s business plan, providing administrative support, and ensuring the group is able to deliver their key deliverables.

The role involves working within a group of administrators to support the Business Manager responsible for YCS Operations support.

The nature of this role is such, that effective IT skills and the knowledge and use of the Microsoft suite of packages- particularly Word, Excel, Projects, PowerPoint and Teams is essential. In addition there will be a requirement to support meetings and complete associated minuting.

Whilst the role has been advertised as working from the Werrington Deputy Directors Office, there will be an expectation for the successful candidate to travel to sites and offices associated with the Youth Custody Service Directorate for meetings and other corporate responsibilities on occasion.
