EMEA Accountant - 6 Month FTC
£40000-£45000 (+bonus) | Cambridge (Hybrid, 2 days office)
Robert Half are delighted to be partnering with a Cambridge-based client to recruit an EMEA Accountant on a 6-month fixed term contract. This role offers a mix of office and remote working, with two days per week in the Cambridge head office.
The Role
You'll take ownership of financial close and reporting for international entities, working closely with local teams and external advisers. Responsibilities include:
1. Month-end close and management reporting
2. Transactional accounting (AP, AR, payroll, balance sheet recs)
3. Managing relationships with auditors, tax advisers, and payroll providers
4. Supporting KPI, carbon footprint, and management reporting
5. Contributing to systems and process improvements
The Candidate
6. Recently qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 2+ years' post-qualification experience
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
8. Confident Excel and business systems user
9. International exposure and/or software sector experience advantageous
10. Knowledge of IFRS 15 revenue recognition and French language skills highly desirable
