Streamline Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Purchasing Assistant to join their growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in keeping procurement and stock processes running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

Place and track purchase orders with suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers
*
Monitor stock levels and highlight replenishment needs
*
Manage incoming deliveries and ensure accurate recording
*
Investigate stock discrepancies, damaged goods, and returns
*
Maintain accurate product information, codes, and purchasing records
*
Source new suppliers and products as required
*
Process supplier invoices and support reconciliation
*
Compare supplier options to ensure value and quality
*
Communicate supplier delays or issues to internal teams
*
Support internal teams with pricing updates
*
Coordinate direct deliveries as needed
*
Build and maintain positive supplier relationships
About You:
*
Experience in purchasing, procurement, or stock control
*
Confident using Microsoft Office; Sage experience is a plus

Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
*
Salary: £25,000 – £27,000
