Overview
Shop Volunteer – Derby Crown Walk at Mencap. Join to apply and help raise funds for people with a learning disability. The role involves supporting in-store activities on a weekly basis for a few hours, with flexibility around store opening times.
Responsibilities
* Serve customers on the till
* Take stock donations from the public
* Tag and steam stock for the shop floor
* Dress window displays
* Encourage others to join as volunteers
* Assist with activities based on the Store Manager's needs
Qualifications / Attributes
* Friendly and approachable
* Reliable, kind and patient
* Good communicator (including listening)
* Willing to volunteer within guidelines and take direction as needed
* Respectful and accepting of others
