You’ll work closely with the team to streamline and improve processes, and ensure efficient service delivery.This is a fixed term contract from 26th August 2025 to 1st April 2026.The starting salary for this role is £29,784.51, increasing to £30,784.51 after successfully passing the probation period.This is a hybrid role with a minimum two days working in the office.All applicants must be legally eligible to work in the UK by the start of employment as Look Ahead are not able to offer sponsorship.What you’ll do:Recruitment/ HR:Manage end-to-end recruitment campaigns, including advertising, candidate sourcing, and event participationAttending job fairs, college or university recruitment events, careers talks and any other recruitment related events in person as neededAct as first point of contact for recruitment and compliance queriesProcess new starter documentation and payroll logsManage the pre-employment and cyclical processes including DBS checks, eligibility to work, declarations of interests, and other checks, escalating to the Recruitment Team Leader or Recruitment, Training and Talent Manager as necessaryMaintain HR systems and files by keeping them up to date and ensure compliance with GDPR and internal policiesSupport on audits, CQC and Ofsted inspectionsSupport TUPE processes and HR documentation updatesDeliver recruitment training to managersEncourage ownership to resolve issues at first contact by following clear, high-quality processes aligned with team KPIsLearning & Development:Schedule and manage training workshops and delegate communicationsLiaise with and maintain relationships with external training providersProcess compliant professional development applications and book delegates onto qualification programmes (in-house programmes and apprenticeships)Keep all training information and records updated across the businessAdminister and monitor attendanceLead on day-one induction in a rota with the teamMaintain and update tracking and monitoring spreadsheets on a regular basisManage training facilities, equipment and room configurationStudent Placements:Respond to placement enquiries and process applicationsProvide guidance to potential student placement volunteersMaintain tracking systems and ensure vetting complianceKeep the manager informed of placement progress on a monthly basisWhen necessary, support with the vetting and onboarding for volunteers for servicesGeneral:Maintain shared inboxes daily in line with SLAsSupport People Team projects or other requirements as neededPromote diversity, inclusion, and Look Ahead’s employer brand in all work and conduct.Ensure health and safety complianceLiaise with key stakeholders both internally and externallyProactively seek feedback from the business to continually improve the work of the People team and contribute to the development and implementation of the People strategyAbout you:Organised, responsive, and customer focusedStrong communicator with a collaborative mindsetDetail-oriented, adaptable, and resilient under pressureTeam Player who shares workload and learning with the team and builds a positive team cultureDecisive and able to prioritise and manage multiple tasksKeen interest in HR and L&D career developmentWhat you’ll bring:Experience in recruitment or Learning and Development environmentsStrong administrative and IT skills and experienceConfident in delivering training and attending recruitment eventsExcellent communication and customer serviceFamiliarity with iTrent and Learning PoolAbout us:Look Ahead is a leading, not-for-profit care and support provider in London and the South East.
