THE COMPANY:
Our client has over 100 years of ophthalmic expertise and a strong heritage of technical innovation. They are at the forefront of eye surgery in the UK, working closely with clinicians to provide optimal surgical solutions for patients. With ambitious growth plans, they are expanding their team to support the launch of their next-generation excimer laser system.
THE ROLE:
This is a new and exciting role that gives you the chance to work directly with surgeons and theatre teams, influencing patient outcomes. As Business Development Manager, you will manage accounts across NHS and private hospitals and specialist ophthalmic clinics, engaging with consultant ophthalmic surgeons, theatre managers, scrub nurses, clinical leads, optometrists, and procurement teams.
You will be home and field-based, managing established accounts while developing new business opportunities. Full product training is provided to ensure confidence in selling this innovative laser technology.
EXPERIENCE:
· Experience in ophthalmology sales is preferred
· Candidates from a pharmaceutical background with a proven track record of success will also be considered
· A full driving licence is required.
THE PACKAGE:
· £50,000-£55,000 base salary (dependent on experience)
· £30,000 uncapped bonus
· Fully expensed hybrid company car or car allowance
