We are a specialist joinery company dedicated to producing high-quality fire doors for commercial and domestic projects. Our focus is on precision, safety, and compliance, ensuring every door we manufacture meets strict fire safety standards.
The Fire Door Joiner / Supervisor role:
We are seeking an experienced Fire Door Joiner / Supervisor to oversee and participate in the manufacture of fire doors in our workshop. You will lead a small team, ensuring every door is produced to the highest quality, meets fire regulations, and is ready for delivery or installation.
Main responsibilities of the Fire Door Joiner / Supervisor include:
* Manufacture and assemble fire doors according to specifications and fire safety standards.
* Supervise and coordinate a small workshop team to ensure efficiency and quality.
* Inspect materials and finished doors to maintain compliance with fire regulations.
* Operate and maintain woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
* Ensure all production records and quality checks are completed accurately.
* Collaborate with clients and site teams to meet project timelines.
Our ideal Fire Door Joiner / Supervisor will have the following skills and experience:
* Proven experience in joinery, preferably manufacturing fire doors.
* Knowledge of fire door regulations, certification, and compliance standards.
* Experience supervising a small team in a workshop environment.
* Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Full UK driving license is advantageous but not essential.
