Typical responsibilities
* Deliver creative, passion-led projects, integrating practical Maths and English.

* Act as a trusted mentor using trauma-informed and attachment-aware approaches to support SEMH, ASC, and ADHD.

* Capture growth in Online Learning Portfolios, ensuring alignment with EHCP and ILP outcomes.
* Maintain rigorous safeguarding standards while promoting a culture where learners feel safe and valued.

Essential Requirements
* Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Experience may be from education, Alternative Provision, youth work, SEND,pastoral or mentoring roles
* Strong belief in child-centred, relational education
* Ability to adapt learning to individual needs and emotional readiness
* Calm, reflective and emotionally intelligent approach
* Confidence supporting learners who are disengaged or anxious about education
* Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
* Teaching qualification (QTS) or equivalent experience (not essential)
* Experience in Alternative Provision, SEMH or specialist settings
* Knowledge of trauma-informed or therapeutic approaches
* Confidence using digital tools to capture learning and progress
* Outdoor learning, creative or project-based learning experience
