Due to rapid growth, they’re now looking for a Finance Assistant to join their dynamic Manchester team. This is a full-time opportunity for someone eager to take ownership of the day-to-day transactional finance function, covering both the Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger. If you're motivated, detail-oriented, and excited by the energy of a start-up environment, this could be the perfect next step for you. Key Responsibilities: Sales Ledger Raise weekly and monthly sales invoices Reconcile payments with sales orders Post BACS customer payments Credit control Purchase Ledger Post purchase invoices into the accounting system Prepare weekly supplier payment runs Reconcile supplier accounts Banking Post banking entries into accounting software Ad-Hoc Duties Manage the centralised finance mailbox Handle queries from customers and suppliers Support the FC with ad-hoc duties About You: We’re looking for more than just technical skills - personality and attitude go a long way. You’ll thrive here if you are: Previous transactional finance experience in either a start-up or an SME. Motivated, conscientious, and naturally organised A team player who’s comfortable working independently Adaptable and open-minded - things move quickly in start-ups!
