Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join a thriving school in Stocksbridge (S36). This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact, whether you're seeking a long-term position or flexible supply work.
Responsibilities as a Geography Teacher:
Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned Geography lessons across key stages.
Encourage students to develop a curiosity for the world around them, both human and physical.
Use a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Assess, track, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies.
Collaborate with the Humanities department to develop enriching schemes of work.
Requirements for Geography Teacher:
Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Specialism in Geography or related discipline.
Recent experience teaching Geography in UK schools is desirable.
Strong classroom management skills and a creative, adaptable teaching approach.
An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
