Primary Responsibilities Include:
1. This is a seasonal role which runs until November.
2. Preparing the mis en place required for a smooth kitchen operation and ensuring that the section is set prior to service.
3. Ensuring adherence to all relevant health, safety and hygiene standards for the kitchen.
4. Ensuring that the quality & quantity standards of preparation and presentation are adhered to.
5. Preparing menus in collaboration with colleagues.
6. Directing, guiding and assisting commis chefs.
Requirements
What You Bring:
7. Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK.
8. 2-4 years relevant experience within a similar role, preferably within the luxury hospitality industry.
9. Relevant culinary or hospitality diploma or certificate, e.g. graduate from a Hotel Management Institute or Food Production Course.
10. Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes.
11. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
12. Knowledge of best cooking practices.
