Job Overview
This position is within one of Inspired’s established International Schools in Italy. The school is a vibrant IB World School with modern facilities including a central library, drama and music studios, and spacious collaborative learning areas.
We are seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join our Milan-based international school community from January 2026. The successful candidate will teach across the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the IB Diploma Programme (DP), fostering creativity, critical thinking, and global awareness in students. A Level teaching may also be an option from September 2026.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, inquiry-based Art lessons across the MYP and DP.
* Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
* Set, assess, and provide feedback on classwork, homework, and formal assessments in line with IB standards.
* Contribute to curriculum development and review, ensuring high-quality programmes of study.
* Prepare students for MYP eAssessments and IB final examinations.
* Integrate digital tools and technology effectively into learning.
* Contribute to the pastoral care of students as a tutor/advisor where required.
* Play an active role in co-curricular activities, trips, and school events.
* Promote international-mindedness and embody the IB philosophy in daily practice.
* Engage in professional development, departmental planning, and whole-school initiatives.
Essential Requirements
* A degree in Art or a closely related field.
* A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS, or international equivalent).
* Secondary-level teaching experience.
* Strong understanding of, or willingness to train in, MYP and IB DP frameworks.
* Excellent communication skills and classroom management.
* EU passport holder or in possession of a permit allowing work and residence in Italy.
Desirable Requirements
* Experience teaching the IB MYP and/or IB DP.
* Experience in an international or multicultural context.
* Enthusiasm for contributing to school-wide and co-curricular initiatives.
Previous experience with IB programmes is not required; official IB training will be provided. Relocation assistance, including support with apartment search, is available. The successful candidate will be expected to start on 1 January 2026. A full criminal records check will be required as part of our safeguarding policy.
