OverviewWe are now seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Conference and Banqueting Manager to lead the delivery of first-class hospitality at Aviva Stadium. As Conference and Banqueting Manager, you will take ownership of planning, coordinating, and delivering hospitality services across non-matchday events and supporting matchday events Key Responsibilities Event Planning & CoordinationEnsures compliance with specifications of meetings and events orders by working closely with Meetings & Events Sales team.Lead, motivate, and manage hospitality staff including supervisors, servers, and casualsConduct pre-event briefings and regular team meetings to share objectives and standardsWork closely with the culinary team to align menus with guest expectations and dietary needsOversee inventory control, stock rotation, and minimise wasteSetting up SOP's as required for the businessDrive a culture of service excellence and attention to detailManage guest feedback promptly and effectively to ensure satisfactionManage budgets for non-matchday operations including staffing, stock, and equipmentProvide financial reporting and analysis as requiredEnsure all health & safety and food hygiene standards are maintained & implement and enforce venue and Levy procedures to create a safe working environmentFunction as the primary hospitality contact for clients, vendors, and partners, building a strong, professional relationships to ensure service continuity and client satisfactionLead post-event reviews to capture feedback and implement service enhancementsThe Ideal Candidate:Strong background in conference catering and F&B service delivery for premium clientele within a stadium, hotel, or large venuePassionate about delivering world-class guest experiencesExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsStrong organisation, multitasking, and project management abilitiesFinancially astute with knowledge of budgets, cost control, and reportingMust be flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Up to date with trends in food, beverage, technology, and guest servicesFamiliarity with health & safety compliance standards as you will be assisting with driving the Health & Safety and sustainability aspects of the venue.
