Milford Hall Hotel in Salisbury is undergoing an exciting transformation as we prepare to relaunch under the premium voco by IHG brand — where unique charm meets modern hospitality. The hotel invites you to enjoy voco life at Sarum's Restaurant, our signature dining destination for both locals and hotel guests.
About the Role
As a Head Chef, you will:
* Oversee all kitchen operations across our restaurant, bar, lounge, and banqueting facilities.
* Develop and implement exciting, contemporary, and innovative menus.
* Ensure high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
* Manage stock control, ordering, and achieve key financial targets including GP management.
* Train, develop, and lead a skilled kitchen team.
* Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP regulations.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
* A minimum of 1 year of experience as Head of Department in a similar size and style hotel.
* A solid Kitchen background, ideally within a lifestyle or multi-outlet hotel environment.
* A guest-first mindset with a strong understanding of service excellence.
* Confidence in leading and developing teams with strong communication and influencing skills.
* A self-motivated and forward-thinking approach, ready to take on challenges and drive change.
