Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are working with schools in Sheffield (S35) to appoint a dedicated Geography Teacher who can deliver clear, engaging lessons that spark curiosity about places, people, and environments.
As a Geography Teacher, you’ll guide students through core concepts, inspire exploration of global issues, and develop strong investigative skills. Your lessons will nurture critical thinking and a deeper appreciation of landscapes, cultures, and the world around us.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver well-structured lessons across a wide range of geographical topics.
* Encourage learners to interpret data, maps, and case studies effectively.
* Provide constructive feedback that helps pupils refine their understanding.
* Maintain a calm and purposeful classroom environment.
* Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental discussions.
* Track student progress and keep accurate assessment records.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Confident subject knowledge and the ability to teach as a Geography Teacher.
* Strong communication and organisational abilities.
* A commitment to helping learners of all abilities succeed.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A responsible approach to safeguarding and school procedures.
