We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Art Teacher to join our vibrant and inclusive secondary school. This position offers an exciting opportunity to teach Key Stage 3 & 4 pupils and inspire them through the exploration of art.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Teach art to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils, fostering a creative and stimulating learning environment.
* Plan and deliver lessons that cater to different learning styles and promote student engagement.
* Encourage creativity and artistic expression among students, while adhering to curriculum requirements.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
* Collaborate with colleagues in the Arts Department and participate in school events related to the arts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* A passion for teaching art and encouraging creativity in young learners.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
* Familiarity with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 curriculum requirements, or willingness to learn.
* Good organisational skills and effective classroom management.
* Relevant qualifications in Art or Education are desirable but not essential.
