Role Definition:
To support the effective operation of the Engineering Department through the effective management of the Pirana CMMS and compilation of Engineering Reports.
To assist the Health, Safety and Training Manager with daily requirements in Health and Safety and learn all aspects of the job.
Responsibilities:
Obtaining weekly data for reports and supply to Group
Assisting in placing department order and managing stock control
Raising PO, taking in deliveries, Processing delivery notes and invoices
General administration duties ensuring that all documentation is audit ready
To maintain excellent housekeeping standards across the store, fully complying with 5S principles
Work closely with other departments around finance, health and safety etc.
Updating risk tracker document to follow compliance with site.
Contacting external contractors for emergencies such as breakdowns and drain unblocking.
Attending weekly meetings with other departments to communicate any outstanding repairs/maintenance
Any other duties as required
Assist with H&S training course communication and set up
To digitalise all health and safety training records on site
Act as H&S administrator recording data such as prestart checks, incident near miss, and accident data.
Update and issue weekly site H&S dashboard
Maintain training matrix with up to date with starters and leavers
Assist with organising training where required
Process training documentation and update training matrix
To work as part of a team and take responsibility for time and attendance to achieve departmental weekly / Monthly submissions to group.
Assist the Health and Safety and Training Manager to achieve plant, group and legal requirements are met
Attend training courses, meetings and initiatives as required
To ensure that you work to the best of your ability to complete set deadlines
To comply with company policy in all matters concerning the role including handling confidential information
Any other reasonable duties may be assigned as deemed necessary
Qualifications and Experience:
Must be able to provide evidence of carrying out a similar role and can evidence a track record of maintaining and developing a safe working environment.
Good IT skills and competent in Excel
Be able to promote a positive Health and Safety culture in the workplace
