EHS Advisor
Location: Sizewell, Leiston
Contract:Full-time, Site-based (5 days/week)
Salary:£45,000 £55,000 per annum + Company car or £7,000 allowance
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and dedicatedEHS (Environment, Health & Safety) Advisorto join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving a positive safety culture across projects, ensuring compliance with company procedures, industry standards, and legislative requirements. This role is site-based and requires regular engagement with employees, contractors, and management to embed best practices and deliver continual improvement in HSEQ performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Promote and embed a positive HSEQ culture in line with company procedures.
2. Support the HSEQ Lead in reviewing and developing HSEQ procedures for continual improvement.
3. Provide advice and support to employees and management on best practices relating to HSEQ.
4. Encourage ownership, accountability, and inclusion of all staff in safety initiatives.
5. Assist with hazard identification and risk assessment on new contracts prior to commencement.
6. Contribute to the preparation of HSEQ Management Plans, Method Statements, and assessments (risk, noise, manual handling).
