Job Description Payments Manager | 10456 | Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | £50,166 to £54,277 per annum (Scale L) | County Hall, Norwich We're looking for an experienced Payments Manager to take ownership of the Council's end-to-end payments operations - a high-volume, high-control environment where accuracy, resilience and strong governance really matter. This is a pivotal role at the heart of Finance Exchequer Services, where you will be responsible for overseeing payment operations, supporting strong governance and fraud controls, and keep our Payments Framework up to date. You'll work closely with teams across the Council, to keep processes running smoothly ensuring we stay compliant, especially during change. You'll also lead and develop a dedicated Payments Team, helping them build skills, maintain resilience and deliver great service. This role is ideal for someone with strong transactional finance experience, excellent analytical and stakeholder skills, and the confidence to lead a team and drive meaningful change.
