At GRAHAM, we are committed to growth and building long-term relationships with our clients. As our business continues to expand, the National Framework Team have an opportunity for a Graduate to join our Building Division.

As a Trainee Framework Co-ordinator you will;

1. Be part of a Framework Team that builds and nurtures positive relationships with our framework clients, targets and wins framework bids and manages performance through key account management
2. Gain experience across a range of disciplines, including bidding, marketing, events planning, key account and project management
3. Be directly involved in supporting business growth working with a wide range of departments and specialisms within GRAHAM, including sustainability, social value and digital construction
4. Learn about the delivery of major construction projects, visiting sites across the UK
5. Gain knowledge of Government and public sector drivers and support the team in responding to industry changes through strategic planning

The Trainee Framework Co-ordinator shall:

6. Support the Framework Team in preparing for framework tender opportunities
7. Support the Framework Team in managing framework opportunities, sharing and tracking these across the business
8. Support the Framework Team in producing high quality, creative bid submissions
9. Support the Framework Team in capturing and reporting on Key Performance Indicators and other data
10. Support the Framework Team in researching new opportunities and industry changes
11. Support the Framework Team in planning and delivering events with our framework clients
12. Support the Framework Team in planning marketing campaigns to promote our framework projects
13. Support the Framework Team in liaising with specialists across the business to capture best practice

This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the Trainee Framework Co-ordinator and the range of duties to be undertaken.

It does not attempt to detail every activity. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder at regular intervals.

Technical Competencies

Essential

14. Recently graduated or in the final stages of completing a degree in a construction, business, marketing or arts-related discipline
15. Interest in key account management and work winning
16. Interest in the construction industry and public sector project delivery
17. Interest in working closely with different types of people and building relationships through regular communication
18. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
19. Good writing skills and attention to detail
20. Strong IT skills and confidence working with common Microsoft packages
21. Logical thinking and problem-solving ability
22. Strong communication and teamwork skills
23. Ability to manage time, stay organised, and meet deadlines
24. Willingness to learn

Desirable

25. Previous experience of writing, marketing or project management
26. Creative and strategic thinking

Negotiation: Willingness to learn and the ability to understand negotiation skills and why these are important for all supply chain members all contractual rights and obligations are realised and protected.
