The Role:
1. Monitor sales email inbox ensuring these are dealt with in a timely manner.
2. Receiving and processing sales orders on the ERP system
3. Verifying orders, including customer's personal information and payment details.
4. Dealing effectively and efficiently with customers' requests & queries., stock availability, delivery times, notification of delays etc.
5. Imparting technical and product information to customers including offering alternative product choices.
6. Dealing with customer queries and complaints
7. Proactive tele sales function within the sales office focusing on individual and team KPI's.
8. Point of contact for the sales representatives, receiving and processing orders, dealing with sample requests etc.
9. Meet and greet in the office and dealing with any trade enquiries.
10. Work effectively with other departments.
11. General office administrative duties and any other duties that may be assigned.
Essential Skills:
12. A minimum of 1 year's relevant experience in Customer Services, using a similar system in a similar industry.
13. Working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows and the Office packages.
14. Knowledge of sales processes/order process and order fulfilment.
15. Excellent communication and customer care skills (face-to face and via the telephone) and enjoy engaging with customers.
16. Self-motivated and organised.
17. Strong telephone communication skills.
18. Ability to multi-task and manage time.
19. Have the ability and confidence to develop own technical product knowledge.
20. Demonstrate strong administrative and communication skills, both written and verbal.
21. Be friendly, helpful, with a positive attitude and be a flexible team player.
22. Math's and English GCSE grade C and above.
Desirable:
23. Working for an importer/distribution company in a similar role.
24. Previous experience of using an ERP system.
25. Previous experience of working with flooring products or construction products.
26. Have full driving license and access to own car.
