Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to play a hands on role whilst overseeing operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in production processes, they will not be afraid to help the bakery teams in achieving their targets whilst ensuring that our Bakery runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing production teams, optimizing workflows, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Duties
* Supervise daily production activities and manage a team of general bakery team members in delivering the business targets
* Ensure adherence to H&S and Food safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
* Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to meet deadlines.
* Provide training and support to team members on equipment operation and safety practices.
* Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the manufacturing process.
* Troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate repairs with relevant suppliers.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a Food manufacturing or factory environment is essential.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machinery.
* Experience using forklifts is preferred; certification may be required.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are critical for success in this role.
