Police Scotland’s Digital Division are looking to recruit a Data Centre Manager to own the Digital Division Data Centre Strategy by implementing, managing and documenting the governance for standards and processes in relation to build and design, operational use, security, access and maintenance of key data and communication centres.
As part of the infrastructure team, you will be a SPOC for data centre management including on premise, off premise and cloud services, working with key internal and external stakeholders and suppliers. You will manage the Data Centre environments, as part of the Digital Division, ensuring a high level of service, systems availability, incident response and communication to all areas of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance and testing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, procedures and contingency plans for all network, communications and security systems to ensure Digital services are restored in a timely fashion in the case of a disaster.
* Ensure the procedures and plans are complete, current and accurate.
* Organise regular testing of disaster recovery plans and document outcomes
